Honda's Prius-fighter coming to Paris {Autoblog}
Aug 7th 2008 7:03PM Don't you think it makes sense that they'll call it the Honda Clarity? The FCX is just the fuel cell version of the same car.
It will be a nice stopgap before they go all electric in a few years time.
Dutch town looks to cut pollution with air-purifying concrete {Engadget}
Aug 6th 2008 7:12PM Well I hope the Dutch are prepared for an increase in algae in their waterways. Those nitrates might be harmless to humans but they make great plant food. Ultimately it will lead to different environmental problem.

iPhone 2.0.1 now available through iTunes {Engadget}
Aug 4th 2008 10:51PM I haven't had problems with crashes, freezes or excessive backup times. First gen iPhone using a Mac. I have had an issue with passwords being displayed when you type them due to either excessive speed or failure to immediately replace the text with a black dot. It was present in 2.0 and unfortunately it's also present in 2.0.1.
By the way, my upgrade with smoothly, and the whole process took about 7 minutes.
I'm going to do what I should have done all along: file a bug with Apple instead of just complaining to you lot.
Ford posts $8.7B Q2 loss, will convert three truck factories to car production {Autoblog}
Jul 24th 2008 3:06PM I think the domestic brands have learned more than a few lessons from their Asian competitors. If Ford is going to spend the money to retool a manufacturing plant they'll likely give it the same flexible capacity that Honda and Toyota have. That way when product demand changes they can shift their production ability accordingly.
2010 Ford Mustang to debut at LA Auto Show {Autoblog}
Jul 23rd 2008 7:31PM As the owner of a current Mustang GT it's nice to see that Ford has finally paid attention to at least one little detail--body colored mirror housings. I love my GT but every time I wash the darned thing the black mirror housings annoy me just a little...

This would be some seriously dangerous stuff in the wrong hands. Preferably mine...
First Drive: 2008 Dodge Challenger SRT-8 w/VIDEO {Autoblog}
Jul 19th 2008 1:09AM I saw one of these at a rodeo last weekend. The hood was up and the doors were open so I climbed in.
The black metal flake paint was downright beautiful. The interior wasn't all that different from my Mustang. The seats may have been bolstered a little better, but the rear seats looked almost identical. The dash layout was also very similar. Automatic transmission, or course, with the shift lever directly in front of the two cup holders. Just like the 'Stang.
The window sticker was sitting on top of the dash. Not bad mileage for a 6.1 L Hemi. Dang that sucker's expensive. But still, for as much abuse as people heap on the Mustang its interior is still somewhat nicer. (with the interior upgrade at least)
All in all a great looking and feeling car. I bet it runs like a bat out of hell too. I wish I could have driven it to do a direct comparison to my GT.
I think the Dodge boys hit a deep fly with this one, but it's still in the park.
