Logitech quietly launches $99 Harmony 510 universal remote {Engadget}
Oct 6th 2008 3:30PM I have the Harmony 550 and it's a GREAT product. In fact, i have TWO of them. The only thing i don't like is the blue backlight. The LCD screen is VERY hard to read, and the blue backlighting only makes it worse.
The 510 looks like they've taken the 500 and added a few buttons to the bottom row. The 550 has a dedicated Mute and Prev button, which i quite like. Still, i don't see why anyone would get a 510 when there are still 550s available for less.
More 2009 Honda Element pics surface {Autoblog}
Sep 30th 2008 1:08PM Wow... this looks great! I was a fan of the original Element, and this is a nice evolution. While part of what i really liked was the unpainted quarter panels, i can appreciate that not everybody wanted to drive a Rubbermaid bin on wheels.
It doesn't look like they've changed much else... more of an exterior re-styling than anything.
Hopefully the Element gets a clean diesel option.

First Drive: 2009 Honda Fit Sport {Autoblog}
Aug 20th 2008 3:01PM It's nice to see Honda embracing the spirit of the Civics of the past with a fun-to-drive, economical and utilitarian small vehicle.
But looking at the first profile pic, i was struck by how pronounced the new car's nose is. Looking at photos of the Japanese-market Fit, it seems that they've added at least a couple of inches to the nose, presumably to meet North American (and European) pedestrian safety requirements.
Damn pedestrians...
