Breaking the tie: drivers' points leader determined at German Grand Prix {Autoblog}

Jul 21st 2008 9:28AM @Pete

I think we still would have, it just would have been much more down to the wire. Hammy knew what he was doing; I believe he overtook massa and piquet on the same corner, and he would have had kovalainen as well. Hamilton just dominated the last 15 laps of the race, and Heikki knew it.

Lighter, Stronger, Faster: Alfa CEO wants an 8C GTA {Autoblog}

Jun 25th 2008 3:17PM Dear Ferrari,

I give you, how to make an attractive small GT car! Please melt the California down and try again. This can be your benchmark.

This thing is gorgeous.

Ferrari California: new images hit the net {Autoblog}

Jun 25th 2008 9:38AM This gets filed in the "what were they thinking". The car looks like a stretched MR2 Spyder. So, hideous. Only from the profile shot with the roof up does it look like anything worthwhile, but you deviate from that angle and you get disappointed.

When it comes down to it, though, no one, NO ONE, will look at this car, sigh, smile, and say "Beautiful."

And that is why it should not be a Ferrari.

Father's Day Sweepstakes, Day 4: Gran Turismo 5 Prologue and Dual Shock Controller {Autoblog}

Jun 19th 2008 1:16PM I have to go with the Z06. It is a blast to drive, I love how the car sounds, and I can't help but stare at the little green HUD and explain to my friends that the car REALLY HAS THAT!

:)

Spy Shots/Video: Camaro SS spotted on winding mountain road {Autoblog}

Apr 4th 2008 12:16PM Drooooool. Do want.

Are those vents on the front fenders, for the brakes, or is that just zebra body cladding to hide the car's lines? Also, I'm growing more and more used to and perhaps excited by the idea of a camaro with a high power turbo four or six. Is that ok? This isn't my father's camaro, after all.

GT5 Prologue to get downloadable damage this fall {Autoblog}

Apr 4th 2008 12:09PM This is one thing that forza has had over gta since forza debuted: realistic physics when crashing/colliding with walls and other cars. The GT series has always been bumper cars, where you can fling yourself into a wall without braking or letting off the gas, where as in forza if you plow into a wall, you are done. It is almost impossible to overtake the cars that pass you in forza when you screw up, as it should be

SEAT unveils fully-restyled Ibiza hatch {Autoblog}

Apr 2nd 2008 11:51AM sometimes I hate the whole 'concept car', er, concept; concepts always show us these gorgeous, progressive ideas that never make it to production, and in fact make the production version of the same car look bland in comparison (eg bocanegra concept vs the above). Hopefully someday we will get less outrageous show cars, so that we are less let down when the production shows up.

but that's just my $0.02

Apr 2nd 2008 9:27AM Can we not call it an SUV? A CUV maybe, but I like to think of SUV's as not having car-based unibody platforms. This thing is not offroading. I realize that the line is as blurred as a day old contrail, but let's try to narrow it down. Semantics, I know.

VIDEO: F2007 takes a virtual lap are Suzuka in GT5 {Autoblog}

Mar 21st 2008 9:28AM I have owned and completed everything possible in the GT series, and I am a ferocious automotive nut (right down to my I am The Stig tshirt), but GT5 still hasn't sold me on the PS3 yet. I guess I have a problem paying $440 to play a demo of a game (prologue is devspeak for "demo", folks). I'll stick to forza 2 and play this at a buddy's house until I can get my hands on the full product.. especially while there is jack squat to play on the ps3 that I can't already buy for my 360.

New York 2008: Suzuki unveils Kizashi 3 concept, coming in 2010 [w/VIDEO] {Autoblog}

Mar 20th 2008 12:46PM Wow, that is damn cool looking. Am I the only one who thought that that front end, mated to a 5 door body style would look very impressive? Done right though, not fugly like the STi. How can Honda, Toyota and Nissan not be getting worried about these smaller players finally gunning for the big league?
