Chrysler design chief wants the Demon, bad {Autoblog}

Aug 20th 2007 10:49AM I don't think it looks as good as Sky/Solstice or TT, but it definitely beats the ultra-femme MX-5. If it can pack the 2.4L world engine @ 170hp, keep the concept interior and actually sell for $15-$17k it'll be a monster hit. Demon's a cool name, too.

AutoblogGreen reviews the Dodge Avenger {Autoblog}

Aug 17th 2007 7:06PM Exactly. A Honda Fit has a superior interior to any Chrysler product outside of a Plum Crazy Daytona R/T Charger, IMHO (I have an affinity for body-coloured stitching on racing seats).

The Jeep Patriot is precisely the kind of car I would buy, but the cheeeeeesy interior turned me off. The darned armrest wouldn't even stay in place and felt like it would fall off if I leaned too hard. Not to mention the flimsy HVAC knobs and the crappy econo-guages.

Aug 14th 2007 4:10PM What better than an electric car to sneak up on a deer with and blow its brains out?

SPY SHOTS: Mercedes-Benz C-Class sedan revealed {Autoblog}

Nov 24th 2006 8:23AM One of the things I liked was seeing the 3-pointed star looking down the hood from the driver's seat... Now there'll be nothing to remind me why I didn't opt for the far superior 3-series...

Take our Sebrings, please! $1,000 for your sedan {Autoblog}

Nov 7th 2006 2:16PM I think it's great that everyone hates American cars. It only means good news for me as a pick up nearly-new domestics for less than half price...

I have to agree, though. To buy a new domestic is pure lunacy.

More from the Chrysler camp: Jeep Patriot {Autoblog}

Oct 29th 2006 12:09PM While you can get it in soft-roading form, the Patriot is also available with the Rubicon Trail rated Freedom Drive II 4x4 package which makes it the most capable CUV on the planet (skid plates, all-terrain tires, full sized spare, 1" more ground clearance, and additional body sealing for water fording).
That adds up to more ground clearance than a 4-runner, better approach and departure angles than a Pilot, and better breakover angle than Liberty 4x4.

It's a mean deal.

Oct 28th 2006 9:17AM The writers here are idiots as far as overall intelligence, but they don't miss much in terms of news content itself. I liken them to well-trained rats.

Mercedes-Benz helping Chrysler cut $1,000 per vehicle {Autoblog}

Oct 23rd 2006 5:36PM I can't imagine Chrysler group using cheaper materials than they already do... Can someone explain to me what is cheaper than hard plastic?? Maybe they'll stop stamping them with those *lovely* textures...

Why is it that American=cheap now? Wasn't there a time that good stuff came from the land of the free? I blame the autoworkers. Yes, they helped everyone, but it's out of hand right now. You can tell when the only way to work on a line is to be related to someone... It's fine and dandy, I guess, but you fools are strangling yourselves.

Nissan prices the new Sentra from $14,750 {Autoblog}

Oct 10th 2006 5:37PM Well done, Nissan. Lots of neato features, a segment-exclusive dark brown leather option, and strong interior volume and power numbers. I'd buy this if it puts up nice MPG numbers and the powertrain is more refined than previous Nissan 4 bangers.

Jeep Compass comes in below projections {Autoblog}

Oct 10th 2006 1:59PM Can't wait to get a Trail-Rated Freedom Drive II Patriot... This thing is just the foil for it...
