Apr 30th 2007 3:49PM Most of the "special editions" are NOT made by Ford but by aftermarket tuners. This shows how much interest there is in the AFTERMARKET industry in the Mustang. The aftermarket tuners(Saleen, Roush, Foose, Foyt,Shelby) etc. know a good platform to start with when they see one.
The Giugiaro is a concept show car, not production car.
Just because you're you hate Mustangs and want some lame underpowered front wheel drive car doesn't mean that EVERYONE thinks like you.
