Jul 7th 2008 1:26PM BS! this car is going to be awesome. looks phenomenal and i'm sure drives well too. The engine isn't the same as that in the MKZ, but that one is so smooth and silky, even at max speed, i can't imagine how nice this one will be.
soon, very soon i shall go get a test drive.

Jul 3rd 2008 11:57PM i'm sorry. i disagree about the races. the DB9 race and the Veyron races were 'brilliant'. i've watched the DB9 one quite a few times and enjoyed it everytime.
as for the show itself. so far, the show is showing signs of 'epic' greatness. really want to watch the GT-R vs the Bullet train race.
Sunday nights are the craziest nights. the patience required to 'acquire' the video is just..... awesome show!

about C&D.. hey, they know their stuff. being doing it for while now. and about comparing cars to BMW, everyone does that. Check last months Motor trend. Pontiac wants their new G8 to be the cheaper BMW alternative. Heck, even looks a bit like a BMW, with the kidney shaped grill.
so..C&D is prolly making a consideration based on what its categories were. just cause the majority of people like the new GT-R and the well made Turbo, doesn't make the top of the line M3 a bad decision.

May 19th 2008 6:58PM Anyone that thinks BMW drivers are A-holes, is mostly cause the car is so good, it makes the driver feel invincible on the road. Now, the way that makes sense is that those who have never driven a vehicle made by BMW, let alone own one, have no idea what the car feels like to drive. yes, there is a stereotype about BMW drivers, and quite possible i could very well be one( like the stuff said by Jeremy on TopGear). But it does not constitute to make everyone fall into a bracket where these drivers are 'douch'-bags. Yeah, its true that there are some people out there who drive BMW's, that think that they are better than most, ive seen those people. However, i've also come across a lot of Merc drivers and even Lexus owners who think they are better than others. but, it is so not so.
Every year, BMW makes some great cars. Heck they make some of the best engines in the world, which is the heart of any car ( 4 straight wins this year again.. ). But, when you drive those cars, it propels you into a different zone of driving. Most North American drivers are completely devoid of any driving skill... "oh look, i got my license: now i can driver"! Total BS! first learn how to drive and then talk about how a BMW driver is an A-hole. The car makes you a better driver. Hence it makes everyone feel inferior to those drivers, which leads people to think that........ well.. do i continue..?

Gas buyers favor brand, not price {Autoblog}
Apr 22nd 2008 4:22PM The only way we are going to see the price of gas come down is if we hit someone in the pocketbook by not purchasing their gas! And, we can do that WITHOUT hurting ourselves.
How? Since we all rely on our cars, we can't just stop buying gas.
But we CAN have an impact on gas prices if we all a ct together to force a price war.
Here's the idea: For the rest of this year, DON'T purchase ANY gasoline from the two biggest companies,
Mobil and Shell.
If they are not selling any gas, they will be inclined to reduce their prices. If they reduce their prices, the other companies will have to follow suit.
But to have an impact, we need to reach literally millions of Esso and Shell gas buyers. It's really simple to do! Now, don't wimp out on me at this point but I'll explain how simple it is to reach millions of people!! Just tell 10 people.. and they tell another 10 each and so on.... get it? could work..
The cost of extracting fuel has not gone up. yes inflation is definitely a determinant, but really.... think about it..
i dont want high fuel prices. do you?
