As for the G8 GT vs. 550i, um... I dunno what to say... I read the motor trend article saying they were really really similar except the BMW was slightly better in every category. The ad is really cocky though.
I'd want something better even if it was only slightly so. And I also hate it when people judge me because of the way I look and the car I drive. (haha "I drive"! Nevermind, bad joke")

Mar 17th 2008 2:13AM Everyone is so harsh... I mean manufacturers must have a hard time pleasing people their customers (especially autoblog readers) I would definitely take the IS-F any day.
I cannot drive stick to save my life (mostly because I'm 15 and cannot drive yet I would like to learn on stick though because I believe it to be an art form), and I like going fast without a lot of drama(a la Bentley continental GT). If I could choose any car a daily driver, it would be the Nissan GT-R. My choices after a GT-R would be a Porsche Cayman, and Subaru Impreza WRX STi. I would like to drive the Bugatti Veyron once before I die though.
Also, ricers aren't messed up people! Agreed, they might not make the most tasteful or functional modifications to their cars, but it's their choice! And they're choices often make for interesting and entertaining views on our daily drives. I especially like the occasional tasteful mods (BBS black rims are so cool IMO)
I really like cars(been reading MT and C&D since 4th grade) and am interested in them, but even when I do get old enough to drive, I see my self riding my bont skates to work(with safety gear), and coming home and playing GTR2 on PC with my Logitech G25 steering wheel...
I came off as a really cheery, materialistc teenager, and feel this comment's tone isn't indicative of the tone I usually converse in. In any case, thanks to the guy who posted the motorweek lap, and cheers.
