Dodge Challenger SRT-8 actually stickers at $40,095 {Autoblog}
Dec 1st 2007 10:51AM Won't happen. They'll sell all the $30k 5.7s they can make at a nice profit. Why offer a low-margin cheap version that would require additional development costs?
eBay Find of the Day: Vortec powered Lamborghini Murcielago Roadster replica {Autoblog}
Nov 24th 2007 7:26AM You can get a decent Countach -- a real one, say an LP400S -- for $60k if you look around a bit. Sure, it'll be a bitch to maintain, but it's not like this fakey-doo won't be.

Chrysler said to be planning wake for Magnum, Pacifica, PT Cruiser {Autoblog}
Oct 31st 2007 9:27AM The Magnum's quality isn't too bad, especially with the 5.7. Resale sucks, but... buy one used. I probably will.
SEMA 2007: Chrysler Barracuda? {Autoblog}
Oct 29th 2007 9:48PM No, that's an early Charger/Magnum interior, like from two years ago. Either that's a modded (and not by the factory) Charger... or there's a story to be told here.

Chrysler hates phone cams: 2009 Dodge Challenger revealed {Autoblog}
Oct 15th 2007 1:40PM That's 5500 cars built between April and July of 2008, at which point they change over to 2009s and the full line becomes available -- and they'll build to meet market demand, whatever that ends up being. I suspect the goal with the 08s is to build just enough to get one or two to every dealer while they get ramped up to full production.

Australians get 404 hp/398 lb-ft FPV Cobra {Autoblog}
Oct 7th 2007 8:39AM If they took that engine and stuck it in a non-limited-production $30k "Boss Mustang" here, they'd sell truckloads. It would revive Mustang sales in a hurry. Why does Ford's North American branch have such a bug up their butt about performance cars these days?
