Sep 20th 2006 9:46AM Here in Boston I could see these catching on. There has been an influx of small cars here in the last year or so, everything from restored vintage Fiat 500's and (Issigonis) Mini's to smart fortwos (presumably via Zap). I think if the Euro Aygo (www.aygo.com) came over Toyota would do well. Heck, someone else could tap into Peugeot or Citroen and strike up a deal to bring their version over, they are cheap. Zap's next big idea maybe???

Aug 1st 2006 5:06PM Just drove a stripped 5spd. and it is nice, comfy too. This must be the most Renault influenced Nissan in the US to date. It even has one of those euro pull-up rings under the shift knob to get it into R. The switches, knobs and door handles are definately more Euro than Japanese, and this actually is a good thing because it is all just a little bit different. I decided on a Fit but would have taken a Versa over the Yaris. Speaking of Yaris, what's the over/under on when they send us the 5 door?

May 1st 2006 3:39PM They should rebadge it as a Honda Prelude. The original Prelude was just a rebodied & retuned Civic so it would back to basics for Honda. Just don't give it the original Prelude crushed velvet interior and skinny 13" steel wheels.
