May 2nd 2008 11:19AM New Forester sales would be my guess. Although the Impreza is selling well. The new Forester is really nice, much bigger than the last and looks great in person.

Mar 26th 2008 4:29PM I live just north of Tama, so this story has been in our paper lately. The sheriff is pretty upset about the jokes over a serious crime. Which was the wrong way to handle this, he should have laughed it off, but he's become angry over the coverage.
2008 Road Trip Vehicles of the Year as chosen by Thule {Autoblog}
Mar 22nd 2008 5:18PM An Outback is cramped, are you kidding me? It's a normal mid-sized vehicle. It hasn't grown up into the pig the new Accord or Camry have become but I've ridden in the back of one for 28 hours (I'm 6 foot tall) and I had plenty of legroom.
New York 2008: 2009 Dodge Challenger - Now in 3 delicious flavors! {Autoblog}
Mar 19th 2008 9:01PM The G35 is not a turbo'd 6. It is a 330hp 6 tuned for performance, which will guzzle petrol.
The STI is rated 17/23, so your friend has a lead foot, or does a LOT of stop -n- go driving.
If your GTO uses 18.5 gallons per week, that's $60! I feel sorry for you. There's no way I'd add another $240 in fuel to my monthly car payment. Maybe some people want a huge 400HP V8 to drive to work for $600-700/month but I'll pass on that. With petrol approaching $4/5 gallon you are looking at an extra $300/month, $3600/year. Which is what why I don't understand more V8 petrol guzzlers in heavy cars. Just my opinion, I think it's a lot of money.
I did own a Nissan Titan that avgeraged 12mpg for my daily commute, I kept it for a year and decided that was nuts. My Subaru Legacy averages 24mpg for the same trip with AWD!

Mar 19th 2008 3:20PM Sub 20mpg isn't my idea of fun. I don't want a car that saps all my cash just to get me to work when petrol is now reaching $4 and probably $5 /gallon in the height of summer driving. Most driving is done in traffic where a big V8 is useless. I'd rather have a turbo 6 or 4 with better mpg. Which is why it seems odd to see all of these new models with big V8s in them. Maybe baby boomers will trade in their accords/camrys for some nostalgia? Doesn't make sense to me.

Mar 19th 2008 10:40AM I agree, you can get 300whp+ out of 2.5L subarus, you'd think a 6L would do much better. On top of that, how much does this car weigh?
New York 2008: 2009 Acura TSX revealed... again... but LIVE {Autoblog}
Mar 19th 2008 10:37AM The 2008 TSX makes 205hp and 164 lbs-ft torque, not much of a difference, but any increase is good I guess. I think the '09 looks nicer than the '08.
