The Tony Fox "Proud American" and "Bonneville Boss" Rocket Truck {Autoblog}

Nov 8th 2009 8:26PM I always wondered what that thing was. It sat on a small used car lot in Long Lake MN for a number of years back in the 80's. I think the owner just bought it to have a "draw" for the lot. I didn't know anything about it but I always thought it was a mock-up or something as the nozzles didn't look functional.

Nov 25th 2008 2:47PM I've been drinking Shakers now for quite a while. Great stuff. Very clean WAY better that Stoli. It's got a 6 column continuous still. It's a bonus as it's made in MN where I live.

ABG First Drive: 2009 Honda Fit Sport {Autoblog Green}

Aug 22nd 2008 9:22AM Actually my old 89 Civic DX HB got over 40 on long drives. At one point I was able to get 46 on a long roadtrip. The ones your thinking about did even BETTER. Some of the old CRX HF would get like 50mpg on the highway. Of course they only had about 80hp.

(spent time researching)

Oh man. They had 62hp! I thought the 92 in my 89 hb was bad.

First Drive: 2008 Range Rover Sport {Autoblog}

Aug 18th 2008 1:41PM "Sport" and 5800lbs do NOT go together.

To me the interior on this thing is just crap. Right on the dash there is the piece of black plastic that matches NOTHING else on the car. It's like they forgot to design a fill piece so they just jammed something in there.

Nothing like paying through the nose to spend wasted time waiting for your tank...er "Sport" to be fixed.

(FYI I may not have sat in a 2008, it was whatever they had at the local dealer supported autoshow last Feb.)

IED students imagine a pod-shaped BMW in 2015 {Autoblog}

Jul 28th 2008 11:49AM I was thinking more about the sight lines.

Most of these "future" designers seem to think that we don't need to see out of the rear of our cars. I would love to back this baby into a parking spot.

I was thinking more along the lines that windows are something you don't need. Check out the rear sight lines on that baby.

Oh sorry it doesn't have any. (GRIN)

Jul 28th 2008 9:52AM Does anyone design a car you can SEE OUT OF!?

I realize that windows are a downer and make the car all ugly and stuff but geez.
