American Idol: Top 2 Revealed {TV Squad}
May 15th 2008 5:18AM DavidA will win this in a landslide, because he's got the teenage girl vote locked up. You only gotta listen to the screaming any time he's on stage for the proof.
DavidC can sing, but he's not rocker enough for the true rocker fans, and his stage presence is too rehearsed. His every mike grab, head back tilt, closing of eyes and smirky smile is rehearsed. It's fake.

Corvette ZR1 engineer says GT-R won't be King of the 'Ring for long {Autoblog}
May 2nd 2008 2:13PM I think the Vette engineers are going to choke on those words, if you ask me.
I think it's a little silly really. The cars have such different characteristics it's almost pointless to compare them in this way.
Sorry, your SUV is now worthless {Autoblog}
Apr 30th 2008 11:02AM I live in a major metropolitan area where there is NO reason whatsoever for anyone to have an SUV. But that's fine, the wealthy or wannabe wealthy always find the most obscene things to show off their affluence. If not SUVs, then something else. That's not my problem.
I hate SUVs, because they make my life more dangerous.
They obstruct my visibility on the highways and intersections. I'm especially fond of them when they are street parked in the corner blocking the view of everyone approaching the intersection. It's dangerous.
A good percentage of SUV drivers (especially the monster sized ones, like the Escalade) can not drive them. They don't see anything around them, they can't make turns on them (25-point turn anyone?) and they can't park them. Meanwhile they are not the ones suffering from their poor driving, because they're driving the biggest mfing tank on the road, so they always have the right of way, so to speak.
And while everyone and their dogs spout how "safe" these cars are. Well, yeah, if your inside one, sure. However, when you're the other party in an accident with an SUV and you're in a normal sized car, it's not very safe is it?
So, yes, driving around in my neighborhood (again, a major metropolitan city with no need for SUVs) I do hate SUVs and their drivers. A lot. They, unnecessarily, make my life more dangerous. I think that's a pretty good reason to hate them.
Netgear offers up 6-bay ReadyNAS Pro {Engadget}
Apr 29th 2008 5:43AM I just checked their site. The 3TB ReadyNAS NV+ is still selling at $2,500 on their site. You can get it cheaper from retailers, of course, but still. If that's any indication of the 6TB ReadyNAS Pro pricing, it's gonna be hella expensive.

Apr 29th 2008 5:40AM "starts at $2,000"...ouch.
I wonder how much the 6TB one costs. It's not $2K, that's for sure.
I am so very tempted, but that thing is probably going to be closer to $3K, and that's just not a good price any more.
