Nader wants FCC to probe GM's radio ties {Autoblog}

Aug 18th 2007 8:25PM Barney, if this post could change the name from GM to Lexus or Toyoda you'd be defending Limbaugh's right to free speech. GM's hit list? Prove it.
By the way, thanks to Nader we got Bush. For that reason alone we should deport him.

Nader wants FCC to probe GM's radio ties {Autoblog}

Aug 18th 2007 6:18PM Limbaugh drives an Escalade, Suburban, and an Xlr. He has had these cars long before the General started the advertising campaign now being aired.
WLS's Roe Cohn does exactly the same thing on his program with Lexus and the dealer he bought from but maybe in trouble with Lexus for giving huge Kudo's to GMC's Tahoe.
As for this waste of human dna Nader, he's been a thorn in almost every large corporation ever since he gained fame and fortune for destroying the Corvair. He is nothing more than an opportunist looking to line his pockets and hear someone else mention his name. He is a dirtbag and should be deported to Antarctica.

Ford plans to cut rental sales again in 2008 {Autoblog}

Aug 18th 2007 5:55PM Where have you been for the last year or two? In a time warp? The Sonata? Surely your kidding. Refer to J.D. Powers. What and how is the Fusion behind the Hyundai?
Bad drugs maybe?

In the Autoblog Garage: 2008 Buick Enclave CXL {Autoblog}

Aug 17th 2007 9:54PM Buick is to port holes as the model T is to hand cranks. If my auto history serves me correctly, port holes first appeared on buicks in the early fifties. They were brought back as a part of their heritage. Now some enterprising person decided to make cheap plastic stick ons and also make a fortune. They really do look silly on a corolla with cheap spinner hubcaps.

Score another one for Detroit: Domestics make gains in customer satisfaction {Autoblog}

Aug 14th 2007 10:19PM Chill out bob, you take criticism of your toys far too seriously.
Many of us just don't like Toyoda and never will. And many of us are smart enough not to believe all the bull the toy boys spew. and further, many of us know you must not be old enough to drive or you sell toys for a living and are protecting your turf. Or maybe you just need to grow up.

Score another one for Detroit: Domestics make gains in customer satisfaction {Autoblog}

Aug 14th 2007 10:11PM "Back in the sixties the domestics use to under value horse power ratings to get the insurance companies off their backs."
That was one of the greatest things an automaker did for us struggling car nuts back then. It allowed us to buy 400hp muscle cars and still have enouph money to stop at Dog n Suds for a hot dog and root beer and gape at the hot carhops.

Toyota Prius may have a mind of its own {Autoblog}

Aug 14th 2007 9:36PM Good choice on the '08 CTS. The adds are starting to appear on TV and I'm counting the days.

Toyota calls it: Will sell 200,000 Tundras in 2007 {Autoblog}

Aug 13th 2007 7:13PM and to add to that the tundra is now appearing at some chevy and ford dealers in the used department. too top that, tundra is trying to fill the void with the rental agencies that the others have abandoned.

Lexus facing lawsuit over ES350 airbags {Autoblog}

Lexus facing lawsuit over ES350 airbags {Autoblog}

Aug 7th 2007 8:19PM My deepest sympathy, Karen. Three Sundays ago I was invited to play golf at Medina CC near Chicago. The plan was to be picked up at my home by the inviter (sic) in his Lexus es350. I could barely contain my excitement as this was the first time playing this course. Low and behold, halfway to the golf course his eight month old Lexus dies. No chance of a restart either with the car or our tee time. Fourteen years of owning Caddys and never a major problem like this. I will never forgive Lexus for this.
