Dec 17th 2007 10:14AM if its a variant of the 4b11T used in the new evo that would be sweet.. but i dont think they would use direct injection for the engine aimed at tuners. Direct injection makes it very difficult to tune and add more fuel for Big boost application..
The new Evo engine isnt even direct injection.

Nov 15th 2007 12:13PM i was on hyundai's website and the Q/A article on the genesis coupe says they are working on a special turbo version of the car aimed at Tuners.
Im wondering if this is the I4 turbo that you keep reporting on or a v6 turbo version.
Also i hope this tuner version isnt like Subaru's TR attempt at marking towards the tuner crowed with a base model with turbo engine and 6 speed trans.
Hopefully it will be the I4 world engine with a larger turbo, lowered suspension and 6speed trans, with a price point around the v6 model.
