Aug 23rd 2008 2:16PM What I don't understand is why we have to be so tightly tied to the American car models and marketing when its been proven time and time again we prefer small cars like those in Europe. But yet we get stuck with large unappealing vehicles that appeal to the USDM market. I'm willing to be even the Mexican car market preferences more closely ties in with ours then the USDM.

Aug 13th 2008 3:30PM The power out-put they get for that mileage per CC doesn't really = power as a 1300 cc Suzuki makes 170+ hp. So drawing a fuel comparison like that would be the same as putting a V8 300c up against a WRX STI. the 300c might get the better mileage even if its heavier but the WRX will clean up performance wise.

Jul 15th 2008 4:58PM I did. As well I test drove a Frontier, Canyon, Ranger, Tacoma and a Dakota. After trying each one and weighing the advantages I went with a fully loaded KC Nismo Frontier. Mid range in price, best mileage, most power and best off road and towing of the lot. To me it sounds like you would have been fine with a Subaru legacy and a small trailer. Awd, much better real world mileage and decent handling.

Jul 14th 2008 6:45PM Looks like other then the higher res screen my $300 without a contract Kaiser/Tilt/TytanII still wins with its much better realtime gps support (Tomtom, Garmin, iGo, Google maps ect..), better 3mp camera with video as well an absolutely huge software library many of which is free and you don't need any special apps to install them. Oh and it can run Google Android for those who don't like windows mobile 6.1.

Toyota may produce Prius in California with GM {Autoblog}
May 30th 2008 3:31PM How is the Prius more peppy then the diesels in the same mpg segment, I very much doubt you'll pull a travel trailer with a Prius like I have with my Jetta and still managed to get over 30mpg. As well for off the line haha, its like racing a petal bike.
