Aug 22nd 2008 4:51PM Is anybody else worried about the non-standard resolution? I know that Windows Mobile will support it just fine... my worry is that app developers will never have considered what their app will look like at 800x480... I'm doubtful that everything will automatically scale correctly... 640x480 is easy, same aspect ratio... but w/ 800x480 I'm worried stuff like TomTom or games will have issues.

Aug 22nd 2008 12:00PM That's definitely the fad these days is to develop your own interface that hides as much of windows mobile as possible... I hope the Xperia interface is really nice, because from what I've seen of the TouchFlo interface on the TouchPro it's really slick and would be a tough thing to top.

Aug 20th 2008 11:36PM I don't understand that 'handbuilt motor' story like was on TopGear... lots of nice cars in the world have hand built motors, I don't remember seeing any wildly varying power numbers in those.... I'm sure the Veyron's motors are hand built... aren't Lambo and Ferrari motors hand built? I believe the ZR1's motor is hand-built... yet they all put out reliably consistent numbers except for the GTR... I don't get it.
