bay will alienate a lot of the kids who grew up with the traditional and classic looks.
as far as i know, i think they still make stub-nosed trailer cabs...i'm not buying the whole "prime would have looked smaller" argument...they still have vw bugs, porsche 911s. i agree on starscream as a raptor but they all look unrecognizable masses of twists, edges, joints, and folds.
and by the way michael bay...you made this movie in response to the clamorings of kids who grew up in the 80s and for you to somehow kinda ruin it (albeit, i haven't seen it) for me is totally unexcusable.
i mean, i think at this point i don't care if the movie involved optimus delivering groceries to elderly women as long as he looked like what WE all remember him looking as.
you went from updating the look to let's see how many things we can get to stick out unnecessarily out of their bodies.
that's my take!
