Apr 28th 2008 12:04AM I finished moving across town once by taking out my passenger seat, leaving it at the new place, and loading the passenger bay with the last of my gear.
I think people were pointing and laughing because of the vacuum cleaner on the bike rack on my trunk.
Difference between me and this chump, is that my gear was tied down well.

Apr 9th 2008 8:09PM Impractical? Are you high? Dude, it's a LOTUS SEVEN. There is nothing remotely practical about it. It's arguably one of the best, most successful sports car designs in history.
Complaining that a Seven is impractical is like complaining that a 747 is hard to park. You're totally missing the point. This whole "practicality" jones is what gets sports cars rated by how many golf bags fit in the trunk. WHO CARES about golf bags? I wanna DRIVE!
(And, for the record, my Seven will be based on Miata running gear. It will be mine. Oh yes!)

No torque converter==no slushbox.
You can, of course, use whatever vocabulary you want. Just resign yourself to the fact that everybody who knows what they're talking about is facepalming whenever you say such things.
