Just a small correction though, the link attached of video of the Furai testing at "a track in Japan" is actually Mazda Raceway/Laguna Seca in Cali. (I've played too much Gran Turismo)

Apr 29th 2008 10:37AM I feel the opposite. I like his witty humor and wish he was going to be part of "Gear". But I also agree with what Leno said, which was if it is gonna be sponsor driven, then the reviews are gonna suck.
As far as the GTR goes, I'm not a fan of the styling, plastic interior or the lack of a decent exhaust note, but I also respect it for being an F'in rocket and as Jay mentioned, it also reminds me of a baby Veyron; the most technology and speed you can fit in a sports car under $100k, instead of >$1mil.

Apr 9th 2008 9:52PM What are you talking about not having the 3-bar grille? It still has a 3 bar grille, just with thinner bars.
And I'm not a fan of studio pics leaking out like this. It takes alot of hard work to come up with competitive designs and predict design trends years before they occur and having it be seen this early means the design won't feel as new and original anymore when the ca gets debuted.
It's one thing to have spy shots a month or two before a car's debut, but years ahead is too soon.

Mar 14th 2008 6:27AM Ditto on that. I also live close to this and drive through Royal Oak pretty often and I've seen this exact car drive down Main St. there.
However, I got to see it right after a wash, so it looked glorious with the ultra gloss black and chrome wheels and gas cap.
