Ford officially extends oil change interval to 7,500 miles {Autoblog}

Mar 22nd 2007 6:35PM What? I had a 1984 Ford Crown Victoria LX and the oil change intervals on there were 7,500. It was a civilian model vic with a 5.0.

Then again, the older vics were built when quality was job 1 at FoMoCo, and they were world's better than the newer ones in terms of quality, materials, construction, etc. I had a 94, and currently drive an 01 LX HPP, both pale in comparison, though the 4.6 is a better engine, imho.

LA Auto Show: The 2008 Ford Escape revealed {Autoblog}

Nov 29th 2006 11:08PM From the exterior, the vehicle looks okay, lots better and more masculine than the former model. And the dask is also a notable improvment.

If you're sitting in the back seat, and you're not an amputee, where the hell do your legs go? Of all the things we've largely lost across the board (hood ornaments, white wall tires, tuffed cloth seats, interior color options other than gray or tan) how to heck did we end up losing leg room? One might say that it's a compact SUV, but this problem is also present in the Explorer, Expedition, Crown Victoria, Grand Marquis, Lincoln (without the stretch), F-150, and pretty much every other vehicle Ford makes.
