Pics Aplenty: Aston Martin serious about V12 Vantage RS {Autoblog}

Dec 13th 2007 8:21AM Love it! Although....Aston's probably not considering it, but would dreaming of an AWD Vantage RS be asking for too much? Probably make the car too heavy, heh? Still, can't help but fantasize about a future battle with 911 Turbos.

Ah..the endless vanities of the auto-lusting crowd!

Pontiac buying property in Second Life {Autoblog}

Oct 23rd 2006 10:20PM As a resident of SL I welcome this buy-in from Pontiac. But I do not think they were the first major auto company presence in SL. Depends on what you mean by presence, but Scion has shown off its cars in SL before. There may be others, impossible to keep up these days.

Phatboy: Hamann wide-body BMW M6 {Autoblog}

Oct 13th 2006 2:17PM I look forward to 6 becoming "de-bangled" like the 3 or 7 in future iterations. Should lead to pure hotness...

Formula 1: McLaren unveil 2006 livery, sales of sunglasses skyrocket {Autoblog}

Feb 14th 2006 4:07PM Looks like a bad photoshopped mashup of the chrome Caddi, a Ferrari, and the old Minardi. No way a chrome bodied race car is regulation legal...is it?

"Saving scouring" on Saab {Autoblog}

Feb 14th 2006 2:03PM The Hyundau Azera starts at $27K (or thereabouts) and imho beats this 2.0T hands down. I havent driven this newest one but I did have a chance to drive the Azera for a couple of days and was pretty impressed. Sure, its not quite at Lexus (or even Toyota Avalon or VW Passat, for that matter, according to Motor Trend) levels yet but this was one hell of a refined car. And it had a beautiful interior, non of the hard plastic cruds. This may be my wife's new wheels, after she finally wakes up from esuvee hell.

Audi launches A4 Titanium version {Autoblog}

Feb 11th 2006 11:22PM I definitely like the stealthy look. I have been planning to buy the A4 2.0T in the next coming weeks but will hold off on that until April.

One dislike - the interior is wayyyy too dark. The piano black trim is overkill, imho - I'd like to see brushed titanium or even aluminum in its place.
