May 14th 2008 4:23PM depends on a lot of things- you don't know what the buyer specified. There are many different ways to get the wrong hose.
Michael- usually, you get extra-high idle on a fuel injected vehicle when you open up a vac line.

May 14th 2008 10:53AM All other (European) press that have reported on the Suby- Dubie reported it drove quite nicely. Perhaps the final emission tune spoiled the soup, like salt, added once too often.

May 14th 2008 10:30AM 40mpg (US) in an outback is still stellar. sadly, I fear the Boxer won't get here in the current Legacy/Outback, and I worry the new one will be heavier (slower, thirstier). Maybe the answer is to find a salvage motor in Europe and fit it to a (slightly) used Outback here.

May 14th 2008 10:24AM For the American market, a Fit is a better choice for many people, but the awesome park-ability is indisputable. Since the SMART was mostly designed for sort distance, urban operations, it seems that an all-electric version would be on the table. That would help the handling and shifting gripes too, since the batteries could go under the floor.
