One MPG is not enough: Automakers desperate to make a gallon go further {Autoblog}

Jul 22nd 2008 11:07AM I've had a Mazda 3 5-door for two years and 24,000 miles on it. Comments about a poor ride are crazy, the car does fine. I get 29 to 30 MPG in city driving with the 2.3. The 3 was some warts, but these comments about it are way off base.

Apr 29th 2008 10:33AM Saturn was intended to be a brand that non-GM buyers would be willing to buy because GM hoped they wouldn't realize it was a GM car. Thats why the original ads tried to make Saturn out as a non car company car, but an independant standalone company.

Mar 13th 2008 1:53PM When I worked in a union factory in Chicago, we had a manditory vacation time when they shut down the whole place. You did not have a vacation choice. Lots of manufactoring plants work like this.
