Mar 1st 2006 12:29PM Rossi--No problem, just seems to be a waste of money to put the 500 out knowing that it's going to be melba toast in a world of cinnamon bread. Why not put the money into the Volvo and bring it to market earlier and save the time and money involved w/ putting out the 500. Chevy is doing the same thing w/ the Impala. The car has potential, but why saddle it w/ rental car styling? That's great to maintain sales, but hardly enough to grow them. People will accept vanilla if it's reliable (see Camry/Accord), and when paired w/ an agressive warranty (Sonata). Otherwise you're just hoping that Grandpa and Grandma return w/ their Taurus/Lumina in five years.

Mar 1st 2006 11:44AM Think how much better Ford's would be if they were owned by Volvo! This car should be brought in as the replacement for the vanilla 500. Why is it that Volvo can get 311 hp in their sedan, but yet parent Ford continues to stick us with their ancient 3.0 Vulcan?

Feb 8th 2006 1:17PM I actually find myself liking this one versus the previous generation which was too Azteky for my liking. Everything is clean and nicely intergrated and has a "as a whole" look to it.
The interior is very VW like and bar far the nicest in the truck field. Job well done GM!
