Do we still need PBS? {TV Squad}

Feb 19th 2008 1:39PM I love PBS. It was the first to go HD, and still is one of the best looking. You can get PBS with a antenna if you refuse to have a $100 cable bill for the 200+ channels you'll never watch (I don't need to be watching that much TV anyways). I don't miss the commercials, and they have tons of great shows - stuff on tech, cars, science, nature, history, DIY, home repair, culture, etc. Besides, how many things do you pay taxes on that you will never use? I never donate extra, but I'm glad my taxes go toward it.

Black on Track: Gemballa GT 4.0L RS {Autoblog}

Feb 19th 2008 1:21PM I think they need to make a bodykit for the Cayman that makes it's ass look more like a 911. And offer the bigger turbo engine. That would be sweet.

Apple MacBook Air first hands-on {Engadget}

Jan 15th 2008 7:02PM Whoa - Alex must be a apple fan!

Sometimes there are wireless issues that can't be helped - interference, etc. Besides when I am on a customer site and their wireless goes up and down there is nothing I can do - except maybe plug into the ethernet jack. And on this air book its a optional feature (that is common on all other notebooks). And yeah I can pay extra for a usb adapter, hoping I am not using the usb superdrive (that I also paid extra for) at the same time. Or I'll have to buy a extra usb hub. And I'll have to buy the dvi/vga display adapters. Why am I buying all this extra stuff for what was a really expensive notebook in the first place? Oh yeah casue its small and thin. Whoopie. And it uses the 1.8 inch ipod hard drives which will limit the upgradeability. Except the hard drive isn't user upgradeable. Along with the battery. Or memory. Yuck. With all the extra stuff I'll have to buy and carry around it's not looking so thin. The other Mac laptops are better.

Apple MacBook Air first hands-on {Engadget}

Jan 15th 2008 2:27PM Whats the graphics on this thing anyways?

Typical Apple - they want you to pay more for less becasue it is sexy and small. BUT - the hard drive capacity is too small, has no replaceable battery (the one in my laptop died after a year), no ethernet for when wireless is acting up, and no dvd writer. For that they want you to pay MORE?? No thanks. I rather have a eee running OSX.

Meet the new MacBook family {Engadget}

Jan 15th 2008 2:03PM It has ethernet doesn't it? Or is it wireless only? Is the battery removable? What kind of graphics? AND you have to give up the DVD writer? Too expensive.

KDE 4: Beauty only gets you so far {Download Squad}

Jan 15th 2008 10:20AM I can't wait to see PCLinuxOS with either KDE 4.0 or 4.1

Family Guy: McStroke {TV Squad}

Jan 14th 2008 2:43PM I love Family Guy. Yes some episodes are better than others but I always find a couple things that make me laugh. Maybe I just like Seth's sense of humor - even on subjects I disagree with.

With that being said, I thought last night's episode was pretty funny. There were many times I laughed out loud. Keep it coming.

Detroit 2008: Ra-Roh! Mitsubishi unveils Concept-RA {Autoblog}

Jan 14th 2008 11:42AM I kinda like it. It's a concept - if it goes to production I'm sure it will get tamed down.

I don't know why one author hates this car and another author called the Audi TTs beautiful. To each his own I guess.

Detroit 2008: Lexus LF-A Roadster {Autoblog}

Jan 13th 2008 8:38AM Why do all the scoops make it look mid/rear engine?
