Jul 24th 2008 7:37AM VW is unfortunately in decline in the US and their future here looks grimmer still. The reason is our worthless dollar and a lack of long term commitment on VW's part.
The new Scirocco isn't coming and the redesigned Golf/Rabbit isn't coming. They'll build us a new midsized sedan for our own consumption a la Pennsylvania Rabbits.
New design direction? Not for US.
You'll hear crickets in the dealerships.

Oct 25th 2007 1:43PM I did this course a couple of years ago. One thing you do learn is that Saabs ARE fun. The instructors are great and there is lots of comraderie. The cars are brand new and you get to beat the piss out of them.
$1500 well spent.

Aug 14th 2007 10:22PM I was pulled over 13 times before I got my first speeding ticket. I pretty much stuck to the suggestions above and they worked. I lived in the Northeast at the time and the cops there seemed a bit more human.
Now that I live in South Carolina, I get 1-2 tickets a year. All for about 10-15 MPH over the limit. I'm still just as respectful as always but the cops here could care less as they meet their quotas.
BTW I'm a public servant as well.
