NASCAR Nationwide Series begins testing new race cars {Autoblog}

Sep 9th 2008 3:59PM Nascar should go back to it's roots and actually race production cars...it would save the automakers money too, no more funding for high end racecars, and more publicity for the OEs

SEMA Preview: Hurst/HEMI Challenger packed with 500+hp for Vegas trip {Autoblog}

Aug 27th 2008 9:14PM Yes they did, two of the nicest Muscle Cars, 1968,and 1969 Hurst Olds'. It's a shame really...yet another reason why Olds went under. I think GM likes putting to death some of the greats.

Beautiful Challengers though, I'd take the white one.

Goodguys Rod & Custom names 2008 Street Machine of the Year {Autoblog}

Jul 18th 2008 4:01AM Did you see it in real life? You should. Maybe you would see what makes it different than a regular '69 Camaro.

Two real muscle cars destroyed for art's sake... Art is mad {Autoblog}

May 17th 2008 12:08AM Wow guys, getting a little hasty. Im a current student majoring in Transportation Design. Of course todays cars handle better, and get better gas milage, its the sign of the times. However, there are things called hobbies. Old cars are not dead. Pro built hod rods are selling for 6 figures....seems like their alive to me.

And just to reinforce something, everyone is suffering from fuel prices these days.

Anyway...The video is interesting, but idiotic. Any kind of car guy, would feel its wrong, weather its an old car or new car.

April Foolery: Toyota resurrects Oldsmobile in its own image {Autoblog}

Apr 1st 2008 10:44PM Pisses me off. Why did they sell them higher? Becuase they used to be as nice as a Caddy. They always had the name of Poor Man's Cadillac. They used to have one the most powerful cars in the 60's. They were pioneers. Olds and Caddy were the firsts to have High Compression engines in '49. I'm proud my dad has a '68 442, Mom has a '68 Cutlass, and I have a '69 Cutlass. Theyre not original by all means, but they're sweet muscle cars. I agree, Doc is rollin' in his grave.

SEMA Wheels: That's one heck of a fat lip {Autoblog}

Nov 3rd 2007 1:36AM Ok. What about pro street widths? theyre lips are like 11 in. You take a wheel made for the new Mickey Thompson Sportsman SR's they measure 20x15, 4 in. backspacing, thats an 11 inch lip, isnt it?

Classic prank: Preying on the naive auto owner {Autoblog}

Jan 20th 2007 3:32AM My Dad had been a mechanic for years, he once told me a story where a guy came in and asked him to check his plug wires, he thought they were leaking........
