GM RWD Update: FWD Impala remains, Zeta to merge with Sigma {Autoblog}
May 5th 2008 4:33PM 118" wheelbase for a DTS replacement sounds too short. An S550 has a 124" wheelbase and its designed by europeans who drive on crowded ancient streets. Shouldn't America's flagship sedan be at least as long as an S-Class? I'm crossing my fingers 118" is their short wheel base version of this car.

Apr 15th 2008 7:58PM I have a Sierra Denali with quadrasteer and absolutely love it. I love the brand new Denali and would love to upgrade to it's fully boxed frame and 6.2VVT but I'd miss quadrasteer too much! It makes parking my 230 in. truck a total breeze even in the tightest most hectic parking lots. Hopefully GM can get their hands on BMWs new system for the new rear drive 2011 Cadillac DTS!!!

Spy Shots: Cadillac CTS Coupe caught with no door handles! {Autoblog}
Mar 7th 2008 1:15PM You can see it will have XLR style door handles. I love this car already. The fact that the proportions aren't as elegant and traditional as the 3 series coupe is a very good thing. Designs that take some getting used to on the road end up being hits in the long run and Cadillac needs to be the company that does this. Well done GM!
Enter TCC's Rumormill: GM's RWD plans to include Buick and Cadillac {Autoblog}
Feb 19th 2008 8:49PM According to those leaked UAW contracts from a while back these vehicles will be revealed sometime in 2010. I'm praying that the Over Head Cam 6.2 VVT V8 discussed in the same document is for the Cad. I'd order one right now if that was the case.
Chicago '08 Preview: GMC Denali XT: Four-door, flex-fuel, hybrid Ute! {Autoblog}
Feb 3rd 2008 1:17AM This was obviously posted late at night, half the comments are by developing teenagers who are up late shopping for Hyundai's or something. This vehicle is a great addition to GM's portfolio and will sell very well. Being branded as a Denali it's aimed at an older well funded crowd looking for something in between their old Denali and their Audi. It will ride like their sedan and get the same mileage as their sedan yet still get the dogs and $900 dollars worth of Costco crap home like their 3-ton Yukon did. Well done.

Don't fret V8 fans, go to the link above, on page 51 you'll see that a DOHC 6.2L is on it's way and being that the document mentions a truck version of this engine it most likely will be offered in the 2011 Cadillac DTS. No Northstar replacement around 5 Liters would have ever made the amount of torque this 6.2 will end up making.
