May 7th 2008 11:00PM It's probably some super strong material Chevy created to prevent the roofs from flying off.
Gotta luv American iron. NOT!
Sorry, your SUV is now worthless {Autoblog}
Apr 30th 2008 11:19AM For the record my SUV is 7 years old and my boat is 10 years old.
Yeah, they cost money to fill up...but I'd rather pay a higher dollar per gallon of gas then to spend $30K on a hyprid to save $50/month on gas and do nothing but commute with it. Seems pointless.

Apr 30th 2008 10:19AM You are correct. I don't need to tow a boat...but I choose to because it's fun to boat. I could care less if gas is at $4/gallon or $8/gallon. I'm going to fill up my SUV and my boat and have fun. With gas prices where they are at right now...it costs me an extra $50/month Big Deal.
I could care less how much it costs.
My Toys are paid off. I can buy a lot of gas for no SUV or boat payments.

Apr 30th 2008 9:31AM I hate to say it...but this is hardly goodbye to big SUV's. There are still millions and millions of them on the road.
No matter the gas prices...some people are going to continue driving their minivans and trucks for utility and or convenience.
You can't tow a boat with a stupid Prius or a minivan.
More cars than ever require premium fuel {Autoblog}
Apr 20th 2008 11:21AM It's pretty common knowledge that it takes 2-3 tanks when making the switch for you to see the results while your engine is making adjustments.
I recommend that you try again and go for 5 tanks of premium. Keep a log of how many miles you travel and how much gas you put in to fill up and I'd be willing to bet you that you get better gas mileage with premium. And if you're like me...enough to compensate for the increased price.

Apr 17th 2008 5:31PM I run premium fuel in all of my cars.
I've run many many tests on each car with the same result. The increased cost of premium fuel is negated by improved gas mileage. Period.
I don't use discouted gasolines. They are terrible.
Seems simple to me.

Apr 14th 2008 1:04PM This car does nothing for me.
Does anyone else think it looks very similar to a C6 Corvette convertible with some more square corners. That's probably why I hate it.
