Spy Shots: Next-gen Prius gets caught testing {Autoblog}
Jul 30th 2008 2:14PM I have a feeling it will be more of a sub-marque, like Cutlass or Lumina used to be.
Prius MUV (Large people/stuff mover - hatch or mini-minivan)
Prius Touring (Mainstream midsize sedan)
Prius SportCoupe (Small w/ performance)
Prius EcoCoupe (Small, MPG optimized)
etc...
You could do this all with two basic chassis and two ICE options.

Jul 30th 2008 2:03PM Cars have to keep getting bigger! I mean, you can't possibly expect an American family of four to fit in a 110-inch-wheelbase, 72-inch-wide sedan, can you? Impossible! Right now said family has no choice but to get a three-row behemoth SUV.
That or stop acquiring piles of crap and schlepping them everywhere we go, and get used to not having a two-foot buffer in all directions, but we know that's not going to happen.
ABTrainer: VW tuner pumps up the Passat CC {Autoblog}
Jul 30th 2008 12:36PM Looks like they slapped the VW "goofy grin" on a Saturn Aura.
When will VW start making GERMAN cars again?

Jul 30th 2008 12:33PM Right now the shortage on LiIon batteries is so bad it's not even funny. I've been trying to get a hold of an MSI Wind laptop with a 6-cell battery, and they're unobtainium thanks to the battery shortage.
The battery supply situation needs to be ironed out before Toyota can start putting Lithium into their Priora. I think there may be some technical issues as well involving heat.
Chrysler may nix top-of-the-line Avenger, Sebring {Autoblog}
Jul 18th 2008 1:34PM What's up with the Avenger costing more than the Sebring?
Um, it doesn't look like someone took parts from 18 other cars and glued them together?
Detroit '08 Preview: Mazda Furai breaks cover! {Autoblog}
Dec 28th 2007 12:31PM I came here to post the same thing. The car looks like it's melting. Flowing lines is one thing, but this is too much...
Jaguar unveils new-look 2009 X-Type {Autoblog}
Oct 12th 2007 12:22PM I was going to post the exact same thought.
That said, those c. 2004 Sonatas were stylish, and I can't for the life of my figure out why Hyundai morphed their car into a sad, generic, Camcord wannabe.
GM says Malibu is best car in class, takes direct aim at competition {Autoblog}
Aug 29th 2007 1:08PM Getting Accord and Camry owners to switch to Malibu would be nice, but I would think, given $3/gal gas deflating the SUV market, they should also try to attract current TrailBlazer and Suburban owners.
Hint: Give us a hatch/wagon variant!
I'm a happy '06 Maxx owner, and I agree 100% with the comments above about it. I can carry people and things with much greater ease than I could in, say, an Equinox, all with acceleration and handling that you're not going to get with any *UV.
The new Range Rover: Coming with aluminum! {Autoblog}
May 11th 2007 8:49AM Since it's a British make, shouldn't it be "aluminium?"
Introducing the Pontiac G8 {Autoblog}
Feb 7th 2007 5:12PM I'd hold off on purchasing until this is released as the 2009 Chevy Impala for $10k less :-).
