Ford holds Taurus SHO focus group in Chicago... what does it mean??? {Autoblog}
May 7th 2008 3:09PM Taking an otherwise ordinary car and souping it up is perhaps Detroit's oldest tactic. Not that it's a bad thing! The SHO was a great vehicle in its day, a standout car in a sea of mediocrity. But the marketplace has changed a lot since then, and there are performance-oriented cars of every kind at virtually every price level these days. What possible permutation of a modern-day SHO wouldn't be entering an already crowded market segment?
Maybe Ford should do a hi-po version of the Taurus. But it better be something special if the 'SHO' moniker is going to be brought back.

May 2nd 2008 1:52AM Car's lack of journalistic integrity (Photochopped M3 on the front cover, to name but one example) as of late has been a letdown for me. It was my first taste of British automotive journalism, so I hate to see that sort of thing. But they will win me over on this particular issue, because one you drive German it's hard to drive anything else.

Feb 29th 2008 8:22PM Unfortunately I know far too many people with more money than taste, so warnings like this are necessary. More manufacturers need to remind their customers not to make them look bad/stupid/childish/idiotic/nerdy/overcompensatingforasmallpenis.
