This "tuning haus" followed cookbook-style directions for further boosting a forced-induction car, bolted on some purely cosmetic parts, and issued a press release. There's nothing special here but for the donor car's status as a fancy new 911.

Mar 27th 2008 10:44PM There's no evidence the Gallardo SL won't depreciate just like the other special-edition "collector's item" Lamborghinis over the years. For those who are enamored in the Gallardo, I highly recommend you visit a local exotic car broker and sit in an early car with at least 10k miles. These cars don't hold up well.

Mar 27th 2008 10:39PM The original Testarossa completely defines the '80s for me. Monolug wheels, single high-side mirror, pop-up headlights, cheese graters: completely period-appropriate, and still looks like a special car.
Countach is a close second based only on appearance, but the car is awful to drive, whereas the TR is actually fairly decent even by modern standards.
