Jul 22nd 2008 12:13AM @Bill Jackman: agreed. The design gestalt of this Camaro is a mess. There's visual discord everywhere. It doesn't even look fast or powerful (I get it. This is politically correct design... where ugly is the new beautiful). GM is trying too hard to force a new design zeitgeist based on the stupid stealth-plane appearance.
EARTH-TO-GM: the stealth plane is ugly (it may be cool, but it's a fighter-jet)! It's not supposed to look good! It's supposed to evade radar! So now GM has a car that evades beauty.

The only thing I think could be better is the placement of the side mirrors. They might look better in the corners of the A-pillar.

The height-to-width ratio looks odd... from viewing the photos. Will have to see one of these in person. The bulges from the wheel arch on the rear-end don't appear very clean (I don't like how the rear-wheel-wells protrude out in the back and into the rear bumper on many small cars). Otherwise very neat looking B-car (or A?).
