Bailout bill includes big earmark for race tracks {Autoblog}

Oct 3rd 2008 6:20PM I've got a question!!!!

While I support McCain (mostly because I don't have alot of options :( Romney)

I wonder did he vote yes on this bill? He has stated he would veto any bill that hit his desk as President if it contained earmarks. Well this bill contained 100billion+ in earmarks...

Politicians... ***k them all.

PETA urges Ben & Jerry's to use breastmilk {ParentDish}

Sep 27th 2008 9:31AM This just goes to show how wacked out the people behind PETA are. There are so many things wrong with this...

For one, we are not cows, we are higher on the food chain than cows... I don't need God or anyone else to tell me that. Before you know it PETA will be telling me to eat steaks made out of human meat.

Which brings me to my second point, WHEN THE HELL did things take a shift from not beating your dog to cows/butterflies/cockroaches any living breathing creature should be treated equal or better than the reigning animal species (humans).

PETA can just eat me (damn I prob shouldn't use that expression around them)

A convention is NO place for a baby! {ParentDish}

Sep 5th 2008 3:21PM There is nothing wrong with her kids being there, they want to support their mom after all. There is nothing wrong with them going on stage and getting some shots with her either. Same goes for Obama, nothing wrong with him getting shots with his family. Both are family people that's the business of things, but... I think the line stays there... the media digging up things like her daughter's pregnancy was out of line. Unless the child is going out and campaining for the parent their personal life should be left alone.
Having the baby there was her choice, he seemed content and slept the whole time. Plenty of people have made worse choices then bringing their 5-month old with them to a convention.

Oh and I'm sick of people bringing up how Palin didn't discuss the issues. That wasn't the point of her speech. Her speech was desigined to introduce her, boost McCain, and get the crowd excited. The issues will come later in debates and other speeches.

Sarah Palin cut funding for teen mothers {ParentDish}

Sep 4th 2008 7:14PM Boy Nova, check out Mihir's response... I hope you feel sheepish. Either way I believe what most below have said, personal responsibility goes a long way towards true responsibility and it's not society's place to take care of the unfortunate, many can't afford to give more away but our forced to by higher taxes.

Sarah Palin - Babies, lipstick, and politics {ParentDish}

Sep 4th 2008 7:07PM Special needs or not... a baby is a baby and all the babies I know can sleep through vacuum cleaners, screaming toddlers and even screaming crowds.
As for her daughter, that's really none of our business, but... whether your stay at home and control your kids or never see them. The choices they make are going to be made and ultimately only they can be held accountable. I had a very involved mother growing up and I still made the choice to have sex young. My best friend had a control freak for a mother, he made the same choice. Neither of us got our girlfriends pregnant, but the fact remains... if a kid is going to have sex a kid is going to have sex.
Oh and she has more exectutive experience than Obama, which is directly irrelevant anyways. By being in the number two spot she has the ability to learn from McCain. Where as Obama would be in the number one spot and will have to make the tough choices without experience.

Oh and McCain is a tough old bird, I'm sure he'll live his four years.

Medicine and juice a bad mix? {ParentDish}

Aug 21st 2008 8:19PM My son is in the process of getting a liver transplant, and one of the things the doctor told us is that he will never be able to have grapefruit juice because of the adverse reactions it has against his anti-rejection medication.

FYI SunnyD and many other juices use grapefruit as an additive.

Dress code blamed for teen's murder {ParentDish}

Aug 20th 2008 11:31PM This is stupid... so... so... stupid...
This whole thing is so typical America... blame everyone... but the person responsible.
I'm going to go with the parents, are horrible parents who just want some "ka-ching".

The parents aren't at fault, the school isn't at fault... the dead kid isn't at fault...

ONLY ONE PERSON is truly responsible for that kid's death, and its the guy who pulled the triger. It's just that simple...
