USA Today: iPod is lifechanging {The Unofficial Apple Weblog (TUAW)}

May 23rd 2007 3:05PM Fred is right. If you wanted to limit yourself to one tape or CD, you could bring your music with you. Now you can bring so much content with you its overwhelming.

You can program an entire cross country flight on your tiny iPod shuffle. Try that with a walkman.

WWDC early registration extended to May 11 {The Unofficial Apple Weblog (TUAW)}

May 2nd 2007 9:20AM Having planned conferences, there could be two other reasons for the extension.

2) They had to adjust because last years conf was in August and this one is 2 months earlier.

Love Hertz: Shelby GT-H rental stolen, man arrested {Autoblog}

May 1st 2007 12:43PM When I worked for a car rental company there was a specific procedure to follow involving a certified letter and a period of 48 hrs to return the car before the police were called.

The police might not have placed a priority on the recovery, deeming it a civil matter.

Or more likely, he had a credit card that eventually was cancelled, moved or just given a false address. It's not like he was an honest person.

We would even stake out customer home with spare keys waiting for them to return in order to repo the car.

Paul is correct. Keeping in contact with the rental company is the key to not being considered a stolen car.

Alan Mulally, super hero: Ford CEO saves President Bush's life {Autoblog}

Apr 9th 2007 8:57AM So if Bush had plugged in the cord to the hydrogen tank and blown the place up (note to Ford Engineers: fix design ASAP), Not only would Bush and Mulally have been reduced to particle board, but from the looks of the picture, Cheney would have been as well.

Were that the case Nancy Pelosi would be our President.

Interesting story, thanks for posting.
