Oct 4th 2007 10:29PM While power density can also mean power per volume or mass of the entire unit. OHV engines are smaller and lighter than OHC engines. It wouldn't surprise me if the 505hp 7.0 Z06 engine was smaller and lighter than a 5.0 V10 BMW M5 engine.

May 19th 2007 12:51PM Alex,

Yeah the 53 is a badass piece of equipment. I can't wait to see it in Transformers this summer as Blackout.

I seriously wonder how long it'll be until either the Army or Sikorsky sues Mitsubishi over the name.

Kappa + Zeta = Alpha? Another GM RWD platform coming? {Autoblog}

Mar 22nd 2007 6:12PM I'm sick and tired of people complaining about RWD in the snow. RWD is not the problem, you are. Buy yourself a pair of snow tires and stop your complaining. I drive a 2wd S10 pickup in the snowy tundra called Michigan. With all seasons... yes its horrible in the snow -- it won't go anywhere. But with my snow tires on, its better than ANY fwd vehicle I've ever driven.

And the (2) rear wheel snow tires cost me like $100. Besides that, now I can actually stop in snow too.

I also drive a fwd Saab and put snow tires on that too.

Mar 13th 2007 5:22PM A commercial Huey as a companion helicopter? Please.... Nobody would use that. A real pimp would have something like a Sikorsky S76. Plus the Huey is slow as shit.

Feb 7th 2007 6:58PM OHV engines generally create less power than OHC engines when displacement is equal. OHC engines generally are capable of higher RPM levels, allowing for their greater power. But, OHV are generally smaller and weigh less than OHC engines when displacement is equal.

So you truly can not and should not compare equally sized displacement OHV and OHC engines. Comparing them by weight and physical (not litre) size is a better comparison.
