Aprilia unveils RSV 4 with plans to go Superbike racing {Autoblog}

Feb 23rd 2008 2:52AM There's a lot of people talking a lot of BS here. First of all, there are a number of high performance cars squeezing around 200hp/l out of their engines. For example the Evo IX FQ400. Only difference is that a lot are not normally aspirated.
As for 1000cc, high performance bikes not lasting 100k km. That's just ridiculous. Maybe a Ducati or Aprilia wouldn't, but they already start falling apart after 100km of driving. The high performance bikes from Kawasaki, Yamaha and Suzuki can quite easily reach high mileages if well maintained.

Hands-on with Garmin's latest GPS lineup {Engadget}

Jan 6th 2008 4:44AM Sorry Garmin, I've been a happy owner of a Nuvi 660 for a year now, but unless some major functionality steps are made in the next iterations, I'm buying a TomTom next time round...

IBM's SiSi virtually translates speech to sign language {Engadget}

Sep 16th 2007 10:32AM What the article doesn´t mention is that this technology was developed by 4 students during the 12 week Extreme Blue internship program. I've seen and played with the system at the expo in Hursley this past week, and it is very impressive indeed!

The Driving Dutchman goes 67 years with no tickets, no crashes, and no license {Autoblog}

Jun 23rd 2007 4:05AM The plates are permanently tied a particular car here in Holland, so that's not a problem. They also don't check if you have a license when they list the license plate on your name.

Also, the writer of this story has evidently never been to the Netherlands. There's a lot more weird stuff on the road in the US than over here!

Buick demotes Tiger Woods, OnStar picks him up {Autoblog}

Jun 22nd 2007 3:29AM Stratojet & Rene Curry, you have no idea what you're talking about. Read the most basic book about marketing and see if you still think what you said makes sense.

Panasonic launches its first US in-car navigation unit {Engadget}

May 9th 2007 12:45PM I really don't like the idea of having a navigation screen set that low in the dash. As far as I'm concerned I'd want it up as high as possible. Some car manufacturers don't seem to understand that that is the safer option.

HP set to release yet more Santa Rosa-based laptops {Engadget}

May 7th 2007 12:54PM HP needs to hire some designers for their laptop department. That thing looks like hell.

One more time: VW Phaeton returning to U.S.? {Autoblog}

Mar 11th 2007 3:32PM You'd have to be out of your mind to buy one of these things. The depreciation is monumental.

Geneva Motor Show: Pre-production Spyker D12 Peking-to-Paris SSUV {Autoblog}

Mar 7th 2007 2:09PM This will take the crown from the Porsche Cayenne as the most hideous SUV ever to see the light of day. I also wonder what the point of it is...
