Nov 30th 2006 5:02PM Interesting that a hybrid wasnt considered at all. I would think that 1 hybrid should be in the top 5 list. I think alternative fuels are interesting too, but if Gov Arnold is trying to show green vehicles, he should include a hybrid in there. After all, these are the most common mainstream high MPG cars right now in the US.
Diesels have been big in Europe for a long time. Its unfortunate that diesel is almost $0.50 more per gallon than gasoline. I think that is a strong factor that deters Americans from diesels.
