The Light and How to Swing It: Levels 61-70 {WOW Insider}
Jun 17th 2008 2:22PM "Alliance can probably admire the pretty new icon on their hotbar."
Um, Seal of Vengeance is an excellent tanking seal. Get 3 points of precision. When tanking a mob, put a full stack of Holy Vengeance on it, and start rotating between SoR and SoV with every Judgement cool down (Judge + Seal Righteousness, wait 8 seconds, Judge + Seal Vengeance, wait 8 seconds...) your threat will go through the roof. Even without this rotation and just using SoV it's very good. Just learn how to play your class.
And in the mid-high 60's prot is the best way to level, so SoV should definitely be on the bar.
Breakfast Topic: What tank should I level? {WOW Insider}
Jun 2nd 2008 10:57PM I guess it depends on what particular tanking needs your guild has. If you need a progression tank, level a warrior, no question.
My main is a prot Paladin in SSC. I MT it, and I love it, but the class does have limitations. for that reason I'm putting together tanking gear for my warrior.
as for the whole Death Knight thing. Death Knights aren't going to be the be-all-end-all of tanks. And the class mechanics might not get along well with all gamers (Blizz themselves have said this). What if you wait for Wrath, roll a DK, and decide you hate it? Now you have to roll a new level 1 warrior/pally/druid, while your friends are invading Northrend.
IMO, pick a warrior or Paladin, and when wrath hits, roll a DK and make your choice as to what style of tanking you prefer.
Personally...I'm going to have three plate-wearing tanks in Northrend.
The Care and Feeding of Warriors: To Gear A Fury {WOW Insider}
May 9th 2008 2:00PM I have a raiding Fury who tops raid dps...
No, you don't need 200 hit rating. You only need enough hit rating to not miss yellow attacks, which is %9. After %9, stack haste in place of hit.
And don't ever gem for hit. Ever. Gem for strength (Bold Living Ruby) or Strength/Crit (Inscribed Noble Topaz).
Crit: Any more than %30 unbuffed means you're proccing flurry so often you'll never get full use out of the charges. after reaching %30 (in 'zerker), stack Armor Penetration in place of crit.
The Light and How to Swing It: Seals, Blessings and Auras part II {WOW Insider}
May 6th 2008 3:11PM "Namby pamby" or not, I'd much rather my Holy Paladin pull healing aggro from newly-spawned adds, than my Holy Priest or Resto druid..
In fact, in such fights it isn't a bad idea for Holy Paladins to use Righteous Fury.
New TCG wallpaper featuring Human Paladin {WOW Insider}
Apr 22nd 2008 8:43PM As much as I love my paladin tank, the hybrid class called the Paladin we get to play is not nearly as cool as the badass Knights of the Silver Hand of Warcraft Lore.
So sad.

WoW, Casually: Welfare epics {WOW Insider}
Mar 27th 2008 4:04PM Give me a freakin break here. I'm currently raiding Zul'Aman, Gruul and SSC, and I do some Arena and PvP on the side.
Yes, you can get epics from non-raiding. Who cares? In general they aren't much better, and if they are then you're either a kick-ass PvP'er (Good for you, I enjoy PvP but I'm not very good), or it will take you ages to accumulate points and such for the gear.
Do you have any idea how much longer it takes to get epic gear from PvP? Or the new T6 quality badge gear...100 badges for legs? That's nearly five full Kara runs! For one friggin piece of gear!
If anything, with 25-man raid bosses now dropping badges, the gap between casuals and raiders should widen. Raiders can now fill in all the missing gaps in their gear with badge rewards in place of that one weapon or piece of armor that never dropped.
The Welfare Epic complaint fails, and the term itself is annoying and many find it offending.
Figureprints: What's the point? {WOW Insider}
Mar 21st 2008 4:36PM Motivation to get good gear? I'd much rather have my FigurePrints made wearing Judgement Armor, wielding Quel'serrar and an Elementium Reinforced Bulwark than any BC gear..
Can a shaman tank Karazhan? {WOW Insider}
Mar 5th 2008 2:41PM Paladins are the only tank able to achieve crush immunity on prince.
8 Holy Shield charges every 10 seconds. Even a thrash or two doesn't eat through them all.
As long as I stay on the ball and keep holy shield up every 10 seconds, my Paladin never gets crushed.
Not that it matters anymore, I've moved on to MT'ing ZA and Gruul..
