Yes, I would but not by extorting from the customers and investors. I work and learn hard and get a better paid job at the same company or another. And a lot of people do the same - and this is why most of the people here have strong feeling against unions. Unions have been always a very obfuscated form of organized crime. It's just not fare to those of us who work honestly. And now the companies are forced to move production out of the country because of the unions and this affects honest workers too.

Apr 18th 2008 10:42PM You must be kidding - "UAW members only knew some history" - the file and rank can barely recognize letters on beer cans while their bosses cutting big dough don't care about American auto manufacturing, national economy or pride. Germans and Japanese have unions in their countries too – but somehow their members are proud of what they do.

I wouldn't be surprised to learn that they are getting paid by foreign competitors too.

Mar 29th 2008 6:55PM I hope you're right. Considering that consumer confidence is at the lowest level since 1977, the auto sales numbers for March we're going to see next week must be awful. So, I hope not wasting resources on production of those cars should do more good for GM than harm. UAW picked a wrong time for strike, suckers. Besides, as a Pontiac fan, I hope that idling production of G5 in its current incarnation will be permanent - that car is a disgrace to the brand.

This Suzuki looks amazing, very fresh design, perhaps best for the last few years, at least mainstream, not counting Maserati. I'd say I like it even more than the new Jaguar C-XF
