Street racing is not limited to modified cars! A stock Hyundai Excel could be street racing. A stock BMW 335i could be street racing. A Lambo Murciealago could be street racing. Its not the car, its the mentality!
You might as well crush almost ANY car that is sold!

If Mazda can calm down wheel spin during hard launches on the Mazdaspeed 3 by decreasing torque and power in first gear, why can't the M5 think up of something else besides excuses for taking driver control away from the driver. If Mitsubishi can put a launch control rev limit on the Evolution, why can't BMW get back to basics instead of placing the blame on too much power? BMW is just plain lazy and hardheaded to realize some of want total control.

Still, this is very nice car and it appears to be well balanced. Managing 11's in the quarter on a front wheel drive, street looking car is no small feat.

Jun 7th 2006 3:36PM I say this review never really happened with the reviewer's family. The part about his daughters in the back seat were a figment of his imagination or some filler for his review.
How the heck to you convice two adult daughters (one of them a lawyer) to ride with the rest of the family on a 600 mile trip? Tell, how often does this happen? It would have been more plausible if his daughters were 8 or 12 years old instead of professional adults.
