Not a bad idea, but I`d stick with the Chrysler engines like the 2.2L.

May 9th 2008 2:41PM I have a 05 Chrysler van my 2nd one. Tried the SUV test drive as possible replacement for our 99 Voyager. SUVs are nowhere near as nice as the Minivan. The Swiss army knife of vehicles is the minivan. The Chrysler vans are every bit as good as the Sienna or Odyssey. Go ahead and pretend to look cool in a cross over or SUV, I got the better deal with the Minivan.

May 7th 2008 4:04PM Hands down the worse car was the Chevy Vega. The aluminum sleeves in the engine and inadequate cooling system caused massive oil burning and plug fouling. The car was okay looking total junk. The Pinto Ganada, Volare, Pacer were all better than the Vega. Its a miracle for GM that the Vega isn`t #1 on everyones list.

Apr 4th 2008 7:25PM Sounds like his stock options were the bulk of his earnings. Maybe its the share holders who are bleading these companys dry?
Ford GM and Chrysler better starting putting the companys needs first before everyone elses.
Seems whenever these companys climb out of a hole they kick back, relax and let themselves slide back down again. Look at Chrysler in the past, when they are fighting they do good then they rest on their laurals.
Everyone here blames (or most everyone here) the UAW for being greedy. Well ,hard to blame them when you look at management. The men and women on the shop floor help make things happen too. Who are the real ones that are really over paid? Proportionatly I`d say management is overpaid, those who should leed by example.
Lets sell Chrysler to the Germans for a fast buck! Someone lined their pockets on that one
How about looking out for the company 10-20 years down the road from now?
Pay the American people a good wage to afford the products they make and support the American economy that purchases the product.
We are being milked dry by the rich. They may soon find out they do need the middle class in this country. Slave labor cant afford to buy cars.
Evey part of a food chain is important.
Our Auto industry will do good if people will put the needs of the company first. China is not the answer to our problems its the cause.

Mar 30th 2008 8:01PM I have a family and the Dodge grand Caravan is still the best family vehicle. I will still buy a caravan over the Malibu but the Malibu blew me away. Nice car! Better than Camry or Accord as far as style goes.

Mar 30th 2008 6:00PM I saw one for the first time today in a Walmart parking lot. It is absolutely beautifull.
Everything else all the 100+ cars looked like crap compared to it. I say Chevrolet has a big big winner on its hands. The loaded Malibu will look equilly as good as a loaded Mercedes parked side by side. That is no lie. I was blowen away by appearance only. way better than any picture I have seen. I really like the Buick Lucerne but the Malibu is even better for less. Toyota who? Five Camrys put together are still a pigs ass. The Malibu even makes it worse than that. Go GM go!
