REPORT: Subaru spokesman concerned that RWD Toyobaru could dilute brand identity {Autoblog}
Dec 17th 2009 7:58PM They are right on one thing...RWD is not Subaru.
Make this thing AWD and lets have some fun!
LA 2009: Third-Gen 2011 Toyota Sienna is a rock star {Autoblog}
Dec 2nd 2009 4:39PM I'm 38 years old.

I have been esmasculated by my wife years ago
She drives the mercedes and I drive the van to work every day.

LA 2009: Third-Gen 2011 Toyota Sienna is a rock star {Autoblog}
Dec 2nd 2009 4:16PM Nevermind the rpm counter is crammed up on the left side. It was hidden by the steering wheel.
The rest is still valid though.... what a truely ugly car.
LA 2009: Third-Gen 2011 Toyota Sienna is a rock star {Autoblog}
Dec 2nd 2009 4:08PM That is one ugly van.
That 17 inches screen is a joke... nothing can fit in a screen that is 14 inches wide but only 4 inches tall.
Also nice to see Toyota is going back to budget roots with no rpm counter on the base model.
VIDEO: Lexus LFA illicitly investigated by fanboy in secret warehouse {Autoblog}
Dec 2nd 2009 1:25PM The interior looks REALLY cramped. He had trouble fitting his arm between the steering wheel and the center console to start the car
REPORT: SS badge to return to its roots at Chevy {Autoblog}
Nov 21st 2009 10:49AM It's gonna take some time for GM to re-establish the SS badge as a serious "performance and quality" badge. There just has been too many SS version of..well... pretty much every GM cars except the aveo latery.
REPORT: Mullaly says global Ranger and Ka won't be offered in Ford's U.S. showrooms {Autoblog}
Nov 9th 2009 12:16PM With the current Ranger ending production soon, that plant will need to be retooled anyway. Why not simply retool it to produce the new world ranger. This pickup exists and it's ready and it's just dying to meet us.
Jeep Patriot and Compass being replaced by models from Fiat... Panda, here we come! {Autoblog}
Nov 4th 2009 3:56PM The Compass was dead from the start but the Patriot had good potential. It's too bad the badly tuned CVT transmission sapped all power from the little engine. The fact that the interior probably was a new lot for interior plastic quality probably didn't help either. I tested one at the dealer and nearly broke the trunk handle trying to close it.
The Patriot also showcased another problem for Chrysler in the absence of any competitive mid-engine. They have nothing decent to slot between the 2.4L and the 3.5L. The 2.7L and 3.3L have more than outlived their usefulness and Chrysler desperatly needs those new Phoenix V6.
A capable Patriot with a decent interior, 5 speed manual or automatic transmission and a 3.0L V6 @ 200-220HP would have been great.
That little Fiat could be good, time will tell.... but it sure does look small.
Spy Shots: Infiniti QX getting the FX treatment {Autoblog}
Oct 20th 2009 1:44PM Given the height of this truck, it's a good bet that a lot of kids weren't even able to reach the C-pillar-mounted rear door handle.
Ford F-150 SVT Raptor named 2010 Truck of Texas {Autoblog}
Oct 19th 2009 10:09AM That's like saying the Prius won the "Toyota eco-lovers car of the year" award... or that the vegetarian association named vegetables the food of the year.
Still a pretty kickass pickup though.
