BREAKING: Chrysler reveals details on white-collar "separation packages" {Autoblog}
Feb 23rd 2007 10:31PM TDIMeister... These are voluntary packages. They aren't bringing the cardboard boxes for office clearing. Employees falling within the age/service range will be offered the package. They have about one month to choose to decline or accept the offer. Quit making this more than it is.

Feb 23rd 2007 3:40PM Nothing really "newsworthy" here. This is a pretty standard early-retirement offer. Good luck to the Chrysler Group and all of it's employees.
Jeep prices the 2007 Grand Cherokee CRD {Autoblog}
Jan 23rd 2007 10:40PM To clear some things up, DCX is only offering the CRD in the G Cherokee Limited and Overlands because it is in severly limited supply. I wouldn't expect more than a few thousand for the 2007 model year. The Liberty CRD was built mostly in the Sport model, much to the dismay of consumers (and dealers). The limiteds sold immediately, the sports sat much longer. DCX won't make the same mistake. Plus, they can make more money on the high-ends. It makes perfect sense to only offer the CRD in the high-end models if they the CRD is in limited supply.

Jan 23rd 2007 2:08PM Awww sorry oliver, I was just stating the obvious. Go ahead and call me names if it makes you feel better.
Anyways, The CRD should be awesome, just hope it comes out in the Laredo sooner than later.

Jan 23rd 2007 1:43PM Jeep will sell every one they can equip with this new engine, therefore why offer it in the less expensive Laredo model? Might as get the most dollars out of the CRD while it's new to the brand. (Jeep is in the market to make money, right?) Too bad Tom, we'll both have to wait a year or two.
By the Numbers: December 2006 {Autoblog}
Jan 3rd 2007 6:38PM Yeah, Chrysler should really consider spinning off Mercedes... They're really dragging DCX down!

Dec 7th 2006 12:44PM Hit this thing in the rear with a Dodge Intrepid and the ass end will be sent skyward! This design looks cool, but the rear bumper would never pass regulations, and I am in agreement with #1, the beltline would be impossible to see out of. Cameras wouldn't work either. I just got my new SUV with a rear camera and while helpful for parallel parking, it couldn't be counted on for much else.

SassyGrass! - NeoRetro color for the Charger {Autoblog}
Dec 1st 2006 8:12PM according to the Dodge Charger brochure, Plum Crazy is a "late availability" color for 2007. I believe they will introduce it in late spring to help late spring/early sales. The sublime and plum crazy paints are a limited run (1500 units) according to my chrysler rep friend.
