Mar 28th 2008 3:27AM From someone who owns a house on the island. Nantucket is a place unlike any other, it has a charm that can't be found anywhere off the island. There's just something about the place that makes me long for summer all through the winter (and thats coming from a lifelong skier). Opening the house up in late May is one of the best feelings in the words. Also, the fastest ferry ride is an hour (not 30-min), though if you want a car you're looking at a solid 2hours 15minutes.

Jan 9th 2008 3:34PM My dad has the "regular" LS460 and what you need to look at when trying to figure out the LS-series is what kind of person is buying this car. The LS-series (as Dan put it) appeals to those who want an understated look. The town my father lives in is full of people who in their attempt to keep up with the proverbial Jones' went out and bought MB S600s, effectively screaming "LOOK AT ME I'M RICH!!!" at the top of their lungs to people who drive past this car. The BMW 7-Series also has this look. But the LS-Series (and the A8 line as well) appeals to the well-heeled customer who doesn't care about keeping up with the Jones' and just wants to drive a car that envelopes you in luxury without unnecessarily purchasing an Aston Martin or a Maserati, and it does that as well as a car possibly could.

Jul 22nd 2007 3:37PM I work at a clothing store in Nantucket, MA and the Centurion AMEX card is a regular visiter to our store. From first hand experience with the cards and their owners, I have to say that, 1: they are quite heavy, 2: prior to the person actually handing me one of the cards, I had no idea that they were about to drop one (the only exception was when Kathy Lee Gifford came in). The people seemed quite normal, most of the time they weren't the ones spending $2,000+ (that actually seems to be the Platinum AMEX cardholders).

If and when Drudge does make a flash, it is almost always followed soon after by an actual article from a recognized media outlet. In this case that media outlet appears to be the Wall Street Journal.

Jun 29th 2007 11:38PM I actually met Woz in Atlanta last April. He was a judge at the FIRST Robotics World Championships. My team and I were siting behind him at the awards ceremony and we had a nice conversation about the weeks events. He was a very likable guy and as our conversation was winding down, I asked him for one of his business cards (after reading about them on Engadget) and he gave every member of our team one. Talk about a nice guy.
