Jul 25th 2008 9:38PM I'd put 1 DB9 serial port on it.

Jul 24th 2008 4:08PM OMG INORITE!? THE GAME TOTALLY DOESN'T WORK WITHOUT THIS UPDATE!
Quite whining about free stuff being delayed.

XBox Live IS FREE. For a silver account. The only thing you can't do with a silver account is multi-player.
MSI to reportedly build LG's X110 netbook {Engadget}
Jul 23rd 2008 10:09AM But my point is, that there are LOTS of people in my office who are NOT gadget nuts that want something small and light and cheap. $500 is cheap for a 'laptop' that can do everything most people do on a laptop. Executives that are on planes a lot like having a small laptop. One of the guys at my work got rid of his larger ThinkPad 14" for a 12.1" just because he had to travel frequently and did not like lugging around a large laptop merely to check his email and occasionally run a presentation.

Jul 23rd 2008 9:47AM I agree. I think a 60gig HD is good, 2gb of ram can never hurt though, esp with what it costs nowadays. An extra $20US?

Jul 23rd 2008 9:45AM That was going to be my comment. Maybe they should get them for sale in decent quantities in the US before they start farming out manufacturing capacity. Thats like a company asking Nintendo to build them a gaming console. You STILL can't get a Wii off the shelf with any regularity in the US.

Jul 23rd 2008 9:43AM Not everyone WANTS a 15" laptop. I already have a 14.2" dual core with 4gb of ram and a DVD burner that I'm putting to an early retirement because I have to walk 4 miles a few times a week with it hanging off my back. Going from a larger 5lb notebook to a smaller 2lb netbook is a GODSEND. All I need to do with it is RDP, VPN, E-Mail, Web, Office and IM. Why do I need all that weight and powet to do those things? I'm buying a Wind (as soon as they show up in stock anywhere in the US that is) to use for just such purposes.

Jul 23rd 2008 9:14AM Size of the game is a good factor. The larger the game, the more space it takes on MS's servers, the more it costs them in bandwidth, etc.
The 'ultimate proof' that PS3 is winning {Joystiq}
Jul 22nd 2008 2:12PM The lie was spoken by Sony who talked so much bullshit about the PS2 and how it made Dreamcast look like Pong... when in reality, nothing was further from the truth. They did the same thing with PS3 vs 360 but people are starting to get wise to their hype machine that is built on a house of lies.

Jul 20th 2008 1:49PM The game looks fun... but it doesn't look like a triple A title that the SDF is claiming. Seems like something that would hold my interest for 2 weeks or so max. PSN or Live Arcade title? Yes. System selling retail title? Nope.
