Toyota responds to Ford's new initial quality ads {Autoblog}
May 13th 2008 7:39AM In 2003 I bought a Toyota with the intent of keeping it for about 5 years. This car was the biggest junk I've ever owned so I got rid of it in two years. I had problems with the transmission, engine and wheel bearings. I think people buy them because they see all these other items made in Japan so maybe they think, why not a car too?
I've learned my lesson, never again.

(Crazy) Rumormill: Spanish GTA to feature Pontiac V10? {Autoblog}
Apr 7th 2008 8:50AM What you describe is the Corvette engine. Anyone who knocks this engine should have their head examine. Just because the Japanese think the push rod engine is lousy technology doesn't make it so. The Japanese were first with the front wheel drive cars and at that time RWD cars were looked down upon.Today, it is just to the contrary. editorials looks down on FWD.
Oldsmobile Redux: The rest of the story... {Autoblog}
Apr 5th 2008 7:05PM To Bob,
It's true about GM's past but we do not live in the past. Today, GM is making some of the finest cars in the world and they will continue to do so. Forget the past and give them credit for finally getting their act together. Knocking GM down at this point, I find senseless. Today, you can take pride for what they are doing.
