May 2nd 2008 1:22PM This makes almost no sense for consumers. There's a standard Vette, Z06, ZR1, and possibly another "higher-performance" model? That's one way to shaft buyers that expect the "high performance" ZR1 is the best Chevy engineers can do. It would be akin to Ferrari doing a Challenge Stradale version of the Challenge Stradale F430. What a waste.
