Jan 16th 2007 1:49PM can someone at Autoblog check Mercury's sales over the last few years or at least the last year, because I am sure they are up 10% or so ... if that's the case why kill a brand that is selling and growing ... Mercury is a women's brand and women buy more cars then men, so I don't think the brand is going anywhere
but the ideal solution would be to brand European Fords as Mercury and yes Jill Wagner is hot, opening new doors indeed

Dec 22nd 2006 4:15PM pd - have to disagree with you on this one the XF looks sexy, modern, … I might even go as far as to say downright stunning. Bravo Jaguar, you might have a winner here.
Sad to think that the last Jaguar to look sexy and modern was the e-type, now lets just hope the fit and finish are first rate and reliability is top notch, because if its not, these beautiful lines will do nothing for Jaguar. There is a reason why Lexus is number one and Camrys and Accords are sold by the bucketfuls and it isn't looks.
