Your tax dollars at work: Border guards hold up traffic to check out Challenger {Autoblog}

May 11th 2008 7:14PM I can't wait to see the new Challenger out in public and not on a show stand or online. I don't blame the border guards one bit. That border after dark is nothing but drunk college kids and seniors going over to the casino. As an ex-detroiter I hate crossing the border post-911. I remember when my family purchased a mint '73 Firebird several years ago in canada and trailered it back, we were sidelined to be inspected. My dad was very nervous as 8 border guards were walking towards our truck. Turns out their biggest concern was making sure everyone checked out the polished edelbrock intake and carb and that we fired it up for them. I miss those days before crossing the border was "20 questions and 4 forms of ID."

For that price I think the interior short comings can be forgiven, especially with a refresh coming. I really like the Pat and have been seeing a lot of them around.

GM increases exec salaries to "normal" levels {Autoblog}

Apr 26th 2008 8:28PM 70,000 for a line worker? Thats the reason GM/Ford/Chrysler are in the situation they are in. Try a very acceptable salary for a line worker.. $35,000... then 608 employees sounds considerably more valuable.

The Uragano handbuilt Italian supercar {Autoblog}

Apr 22nd 2008 12:44AM Considering the amount of work that went into this thing.. I have alot of respect for the guy. I will never be able to build my own supercar, so just the fact that guy built his is awesome, even if it does look homebuilt. Plus I wouldn't mind having that turbo hanging off the back.
